The Form D columns are new companies each week. The SBA column is one quarterly batch: SBA published the Jul–Sep 2026 file on Oct 30, 2026, and the same approvals stay on every Monday list until the next file, expected around the end of January 2027. In Dallas-Fort Worth, that is 2 new Form D filers this week and 4 in the last 4 weeks, next to 136 SBA approvals that arrived in one batch.
Counts are what we list, not raw government counts. Form D: from SEC EDGAR's daily index (newest index Nov 6, 2026); we remove funds, SPVs, real-estate and finance deals, public companies and companies whose Form Ds name a finance officer. Across the US, EDGAR's daily index listed 839 new Form Ds and 469 amendments for Nov 2–6, 2026; 814 of those filings were pooled investment funds. SBA: data as of Sep 30, 2026; we merge approvals that belong to one business, hold borrowers named after a person and remove accounting, tax and payroll firms. Across the US this quarter: 26 held because the borrower is named after a person, 30 accounting, tax or payroll firms removed, 5 merged into another item.

What one metro gets you
-
New Form D filers, every week
Companies in your metro that filed a new Form D in the past week and list no finance title on it or on any earlier Form D.
-
SBA loan approvals, once a quarter
Businesses in your metro with a $1M+ SBA 7(a) or 504 loan approved in SBA's latest quarter. They arrive when SBA publishes, about a month after the quarter ends, and stay on each Monday list until the next file. Each carries SBA's as-of date.
-
What each item shows
Form D: amount sold so far, offering size, first sale, the officers and directors the filing names with their roles, and the issuer phone as filed. SBA: loan amount, the lender (the bank for a 7(a) loan, the CDC for a 504) and SBA's business-age category, such as change of ownership.
-
The record behind it
Every item links to its SEC filing or to the SBA dataset, with the record's own date. Check it in one click before you call.
-
Noise removed
Form D: we remove funds, SPVs, real-estate and finance deals, public companies, and companies whose Form Ds name a finance officer. SBA: we merge approvals that belong to one business, hold borrowers named after a person, and remove accounting, tax and payroll firms.

How it compares
What a fractional CFO firm uses today to find clients. Prices as each vendor published them, with the date we read each page, and whether the vendor charges per person. Where each one falls short for you, and where it does better than we do.

Where we are weaker
- Weekly, not real-time. Fundz reports a median of about 6 minutes from SEC acceptance to its feed.
- SBA items are 1 to 7 months old: the current file has approvals from Jul–Sep 2026, as of Sep 30, 2026, published Oct 30, 2026. SBA publishes once a quarter, about a month after the quarter ends, and the same approvals stay on each Monday's list until SBA's next file.
- No email addresses. You get the people a Form D names, their roles, and the phone it lists.
- No direct CRM connection yet. You download the CSV and use your CRM's own import.
- We don't check company websites for a CFO yet. "Lists no finance title" is about the Form D filings only.
- Only Form D filers and SBA 7(a) and 504 loans. A company that raises money without filing a Form D is not on the list.
Pricing questions
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is charged, because the trial needs no card. After 14 days, CSV and PDF export lock and the Monday email stops until you subscribe. Your lists stay readable in the app.
Can my team use it, or is it per person?
One subscription covers everyone at your firm: the price is per metro, not per person. The account owner invites colleagues by email from Team in the app. Each one signs in with their own email, sees the same lists and gets the Monday email. Only the owner manages billing.
How does the founding price work?
The first 10 firms to subscribe pay $129 a month instead of $249 for their first metro, locked for 12 months. Each extra metro is +$99 a month, the same as for everyone. After 12 months the list price applies.
What does a second metro cost?
$99 a month for each metro after the first, on the list price and on the founding price.
How many companies will I get each week?
It depends on the metro. New Form D filers are new every week. SBA approvals arrive once a quarter and the same ones stay on each Monday list until SBA's next file, so they are not new each week. New Form D filers (Nov 2–6, 2026): Houston 6 this week, 12 in the last 4 weeks; Dallas-Fort Worth 2 this week, 4 in the last 4 weeks; Austin 4 this week, 13 in the last 4 weeks; Denver 1 this week, 8 in the last 4 weeks. SBA approvals in the Jul–Sep 2026 file: Houston 105, Dallas-Fort Worth 136, Austin 24, Denver 60. Type your ZIP at the top of this page to see your metro.
Can I load the list into my CRM?
Yes, as a CSV file; there is no direct CRM connection yet. The CSV has one row per company: company, type, filing or approval date, street, city, state, ZIP, amount sold so far, offering size, first sale, SBA loan amount, lender, people and roles, phone as filed, industry, a one-line summary, the source link and the record ID. Use your CRM's own CSV import. To see the file, open the sample at the top of this page and choose Download CSV.
Can I cancel?
Yes. It is billed monthly with no annual contract, and you cancel from Billing in the app.
Which metros can I pick?
Any US metro area in the Census 2023 list, except in Connecticut for now. Volume varies a lot by metro, so type your ZIP at the top of this page and see this week's list before you start.
How fresh is the data?
Form D: from SEC EDGAR's daily index; this week's list covers filings listed Nov 2–6, 2026. SBA: published once a quarter, about a month after the quarter ends; the current file is as of Sep 30, 2026 and was published Oct 30, 2026. It stays on the list until the next file, expected around the end of January 2027, so SBA items are 1 to 7 months old.
Do I get email addresses?
No. Form D items name the officers and directors on the filing, with their roles, and the issuer phone as filed. SBA items name the business, its city and ZIP, and the lender; SBA publishes no people.
Do other firms in my metro see the same companies?
Yes. It is public data, and every subscriber to a metro gets the same list. We don't show anyone who else subscribes.
Try it on your own metro
14-day free trial, no card. When it ends, export locks and your lists stay readable. Founding firms pay $129 a month, locked for 12 months (first 10 firms).
