Terms

The terms for using newlyraised, in plain words. By starting a trial or paying, you agree to them.

Who you are dealing with

newlyraised is run by Helios One Oy, a limited company in Espoo, Finland (business ID 3596623-5) ("we"). "You" means the person using newlyraised and the firm you use it for. Source: Finnish Trade Register (YTJ), Helios One Oy (opens in a new tab)

What newlyraised is

  • A weekly list of companies in your metro, built from public government records: SEC EDGAR Form D filings and the SBA 7(a) and 504 loan file. Source: Where the data comes from
  • Each item says only what its record says and links to it.
  • Records can be wrong or late, and we leave many filings out on purpose. We don't promise the lists are complete or free of errors. Check the record before you rely on an item.

Trial, price and billing

  • The trial lasts 14 days and needs no card.
  • After that: $249 a month for your first metro, plus $99 a month for each extra metro. Founding firms: $129 a month, locked for 12 months (first 10 firms). Current prices are on Pricing.
  • The price is per metro, not per person. Everyone at your firm can use it: invite teammates from Team at no extra charge.
  • If the trial ends without a paid plan, export locks and the weekly email stops. Your lists stay readable in the app.
  • Paid plans aren't open yet, so nothing is charged. When they open, they renew monthly; you cancel any time from Billing and keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
  • If a price changes, we email account owners before the new price applies to them. A founding price stays locked for its 12 months.

How you may use the lists

  • Use them inside your firm, including in your CRM and in notes to your team. Invite teammates from Team; you're responsible for how they use the lists.
  • Don't resell or republish the lists, or use them to build a competing list.
  • When you contact a company, follow the law that applies to you, including CAN-SPAM for email. It covers business-to-business email too. Source: FTC, CAN-SPAM Act compliance guide (opens in a new tab)
  • Don't use the lists to make decisions about a person's credit, job, insurance or housing. Source: FTC, Fair Credit Reporting Act (opens in a new tab)
  • Don't scrape the app or work around the trial or export limits.

Your account and your data

  • You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, so anyone who can read your email can sign in. Keep it secure, and tell us if you think someone else got in.
  • Your data stays yours. How we handle it: Privacy and Security.

Our part

  • The government records are public. How we select, word and present them, and the software, are ours. Sources: SEC privacy page, Website Dissemination (opens in a new tab); 17 U.S.C. § 105(a), copyright.gov (opens in a new tab)
  • You can stop any time by canceling. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why.
  • We provide newlyraised as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as a lost deal, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • When these terms change, we post them here with a new date and email account owners about changes that matter.
